Outback hosts AORE International Conference 2008 Outback Adventures is proud to host the 2008 Association for Outdoor Recreation and Education (AORE) International Conference. This years theme is "A Climate for Change". The conference brings together hundreds of professionals and students from the US and abroad. The conference is loaded with with educational workshops, keynote addresses, technical training, outdoor activities and social events, all offering professional development and inspiring attendees to delve deeper into their practice. Wilderness Orientation Wilderness Orientation Program is an invaluable experience for first year and transfer UC San Diego students. Wilderness Orientation (WO) is an introduction to both wilderness travel and the college environment. WO draws many parallels to the college experience: you will be challenged with goal-setting, decision-making, communication, and self-assessment. Check Out the WO Website!

UCSD Challenge Course UCSD has a High Ropes Challenge Course. Get a group together and experience the course! Outback Adventures and Associated Students have teamed up to bring UCSD an Alpine Tower high-ropes challenge course. If you have been to East campus and seen the large wooden hour glass then you have see the course. If not, stop by sometime and check it out! A great big thank you to all who attended the Open House. Outback Climbing Center The Outback Climbing Center will be closed until June 23rd for maintenance & repairs. Our summer hours (beginning on the 23rd) are as follows: Monday - Thursday: 5:00pm to 9:00pm Friday - Sunday: CLOSED Get your vertical fix at the Outback Climbing Center indoor climbing gym. We have knowledgeable staff that can get you excited about climbing. For more information check us out! Get your membership today, and climb all quarter for just $50.
